Salutations!

My name is Lia Totty, I am one of c.HAIR.i.TEE's ® fashion blogging interns.
As a recent grad, I have a Business Management degree and completed a Parsons certificate for Fashion Industry Essentials. I am currently writing a children's book about environmentalism and engaging the community with installation art about fashion and climate change. Right now, I am a Healthy Corners Intern with DC Central Kitchen in DC, working to absolve food insecurity issues in neighborhoods by working with corner stores on marketing and merchandising.

I am an artist, gardener, nutrition and fitness enthusiast who enjoys growing a garden rich with anthocyanins. Anthocyanins are the phytochemicals that cause food to have rich purple and burgundy hues. Food with a plethora of anthocyanins tend to be Cancer-fighting antioxidants.
I decided to intern with c.HAIR.i.TEE® because I enjoy going to the gym and wanted to promote the use of more sustainable hair accessories. Working with a great company like c.HAIR.i.TEE® is exciting for a girl that loves great hair, social change and sustainability as much as I do. By upcycling scrap textiles into new products and donating to charity, c.HAIR.i.TEE's® founder, Julie Bartos is making a great difference in the world we live in.
Thank you for reading!
