My name is Patricia Moran. I am a full-time graphic designer at Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center in Dallas, Texas. Working there allows me to make an impact in the community by showcasing and communicating what happens within the center. At Texas A&M AgriLife, research is focused on urban agriculture and the extension division is focused on community outreach. Concurrently both divisions work to promote sustainability in the urban environment. I am also a graduate student at Texas A&M University-Commerce—completing an MFA in Visual Communications. I also do some contract work and volunteer my time at c.HAIR.i.TEE®. I love graphic design because it can be applied in any type of organization and used for any cause. Since I am all for thinking green, I am genuinely rewarded if I can use my graphic design knowledge to support an organization like c.HAIR.i.TEE®. It is gratifying and fulfilling to know that my work has a deeper purpose.
